Sanctuary - A place of refuge and protection

A sanctuary cat is one who is unlikely to be adopted, usually due to old age, ongoing medical issues, or a limited life expectancy. These cats may require regular vet care, medication, or a special diet, but they can still enjoy a good quality of life with the right support.

Instead of living out their days in a pen, sanctuary cats are placed in loving sanctuary foster homes, where they receive the comfort, care, and companionship they deserve. The rescue covers all vet bills and medical needs throughout their care.

How Can I Help?

You can help in two important ways:
1. Become a Sanctuary Foster

Provide a long-term foster home for one of these special cats. You'll offer love, daily care, and a safe environment, while the rescue covers all vet costs and dietary needs. Fosters don't "own" the cat - the rescue remains responsible for their care - but you become their sanctuary.
All sanctuary fosters go through the same process as adopters, including an application form and a home check.
2. Donate
Caring for sanctuary cats can be expensive. Donations help cover the cost of ongoing veterinary care, medication, and special diets. Every donation, big or small, helps us keep these cats safe, comfortable, and loved for as long as they need.

Why Do We Offer This?

Sanctuary fostering gives these vulnerable cats a chance to live out their final months or years in a safe, warm, and loving home - not in a shelter. They get to feel secure, valued, and pain-free for as long as possible.

It also ensures they're not overlooked or forgotten, simply because of age, illness or circumstance. For many of our sanctuary cats, this is the first time they've experienced real love, comfort, and stability.
