Our Services
We provide a wide range of support for cats, their owners, and the local community. Whether it's rescuing a stray, helping a struggling pet owner, or offering advice to landowners, we are here to help.
Advice & Support
We're here to offer guidance to the public, businesses, and landowners on all cat-related matters.
Enquiries we receive vary greatly - from a member of the public finding an unwell stray, to concerns about neglect, lost cats, rehoming needs, deceased cats, or businesses needing help managing feral colonies.
If you're unsure where to turn, reach out - we'll always do our best to help and connect you with resources.
Rescue & Rehabilitation
We rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, stray, feral, neglected, and unwanted cats and kittens in Whitchurch, Shropshire, and the surrounding areas.
As a no-kill rescue, we believe every cat deserves a chance at a good quality of life. This means:
-
We never give up on a cat just because their treatment is costly, time-consuming, or requires lifelong management;
-
We follow veterinary advice and explore every treatment and recovery option &;
-
Some cats in our care become sanctuary cats - those with lifelong health conditions who may not be chosen by adopters, but who still deserve safety, comfort, and love for the rest of their lives.
Surrender Rehome
When someone can no longer care for their cat, we accept surrenders.
Surrendering a cat means signing over ownership to the rescue, allowing us to find them a new home that meets their needs.
Direct Rehoming
If our rescue is full, we offer direct rehoming.
In this arrangement, the cat stays with their current owner until a suitable new home is found.
We support the process by carrying out checks and procedures to help ensure the cat's safety and well-being.
Rehoming Adoption
When cats or kittens are ready for a new home, we begin our adoption process:
-
Pre-adoption questionnaire - helps us match cats to the right homes.
-
Meet & greet - spend time with the cat(s) at the rescue.
-
Home check - to ensure the environment is suitable.
-
Adoption paperwork - finalising ownership transfer.
-
Collection day - bringing your new family member home!
An adoption fee applies to help cover our costs.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)
Where possible, we assist with TNR - a humane method of controlling feral cat populations.
We do not charge a set fee, but we do require a donation towards the cost of spaying/neutering.
Equipment Loaning
We lend humane cat traps to individuals when needed, after providing a demonstration to ensure safe use.
A security deposit (£30 - refundable upon return) is required.
